Hello, sorry that I'm using English (after all, Polish is not my native language).

I am a fan of Evil Islands (a long-time fan), and I know that Polish retail version had a third cd - an audio soudntrack cd (a little bit of info can be found here on the VGMDB dot net site, I can't post the link due to forum restrictions).

In the past many years I saw that CD only once on ebay, and have lost the bet. And couldn't find it anywhere since (even in the Polish versions that were placed on bet).

If someone who has this CD, can take an image of it or a lossless rip, I would be VERY grateful (heck, even just a high quality mp3 rip - I would be very grateful, but an image/lossless rip would be like... something Wesoly

).

I know it's nothing I didn't hear a hundred times already, but... I ask you to help me. Thank you in advance.

Thanks, but that's GameRIP (mp3 from stream foldier), I have it. I'm looking for this OFFICIAL disc (and since I have lost the bet, I'm looking now in digital form because it's nearly impossible to find it in physical form now)

Which came with official Polish release at one point. According to information on the VGMDB site, it has 25 tracks and is 42 minutes in duration.

And who better to ask for a disc image/lossless tracks/lossy rip (with the first two being more preferable, though as I saind won't mind the third one Wesoly

Nope. If they would - I would have it long ago already (after all, I am Russian... though not from Russia, from Moldova). They do have a rarity though, a special edition of a game magazine, dedicated totally to Evil Islands, scans of which can be found here:

There's also an Evil Island pyramidal calendar, which I have (someone also scanned/photographed it, I can find it and put up a link to scans... if not, I can scan it myself).

But Soundtrack CD is unique to Polish release of the game, none other country had it. So even if some Russian guy has it (and Russian community doesn't know anyone who does have it) the source still has to be Polish.

All polish EI players are here... We have only this forum about EI - other forums are clan forums only but every clan member are visiting this forum so... Most of us have Evil Islands not from normal shop but from megazine which in 2001 distributed Evil Islands on 2 CDs - without Soundtrack CD

What's the big deal? Can't you easly record somehow this soundtrack from the game?
Btw. it is good music but i did't think it is THAT good

The Evil Islands in-game music is in mp3 format in it's Stream foldier. But that's not the point.

The big deal's in the fact, that the CD contains 25 tracks (of unknown music), and no length of the CD's tracks coincide with any length from any of the EI stream music (apart from a few tracks with 1-2 second differences, which can be counted as the same music, most likely). It could be different arrangements, different quality (EI's mp3s are 128kbps after all, CD music has a lot higher audio quality), and, besides, I just want to know what music is actually on it.

Good news everybody! We have the FLAC lossless rip of the soundtrack. I gotta say, the quality's GREAT. The 25 tracks there are in the soundtrack are basically the same as they're in the game (the only difference is that battle tracks have fade outs/logical endings and main menu theme is looped twice), but so many details can be heard which just aren't there in the game's 128 kbps mp3 music.

Hello everyone!

It's a pleasure to finally register here, what I wanted to do for a long time now. I'm sorry that I'm using english too, since I'm not speaking polish.

As this forum is not very active, I decided to not start a new topic. Instead I will wirte here. After all, thanks to this topic people in Russia were able to get a CD with music from the game, thanks to Farlander, who began this search!

I do understand that most people in Poland have Evil Islands from some magazine, and there are very few boxed versions. But still. Is it possible to find a boxed version in good condition? I'm currently working on writing about different versions of Rage of Mages and Evil Islands, since with time it's getting harder and harder to find those games, and they needs to be preserver.

I saw the archive above, and there are images and few photos, thanks for that. But I would like to talk to someone who actually has such edition.

I'm posting everything on allods. gipat. ru (sorry, it's in Russian only, but you can use GTranslate or something if you are interested).
